Poderi Luigi Einaudi 2017 – Dogliani

The nose is fresh and finely tight. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of ripe/fresh cassis, fresh blackberry and small notes of red berries associated with small touches of plum as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, spices and grey pepper. The mouth offers delicacy, a good definition, a fine acidulous frame as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of plum as well as very discreet hints of liquorice stick and cocoa. Tannins are well-built. Good length. An imperceptible hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
