Podere Ruggeri Corsini – Bussia 2013 – Barolo 

The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of strawberry, wild blackberry and small notes of cherry associated with a touch of flowers, blue fruits as well as hints of nutmeg, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of tea and Cuben pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, mineral, silky, slightly tight and offers a fine acidulous frame as well as a good minerality/freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, ripe/fresh red berries and small notes of plum associated with touches of crunchy strawberry, flowers as well as discreet toasted hints, Cuben pepper, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of tea (in the background). Tannins are structuring and slightly firm. There are toasted hints, sweet spices, toasted hazelnut and pepper on the persistence.
