The wine shows a medium ruby garnet colour with some brightening on the rim. The nose is intense, slightly dusty, very gourmet. It opens up with notes of cherry pie, strawberry compote, a touch of cacao, spices and vanilla. The palate is juicy and dense, revealing notes of dried and fresh sour red and black cherries, a hint of strawberry cream, sweet spices like vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is juicy with pleasant fruitiness and roundness. The tannins are bold but ripe and suave.
