Poças – 10 Years Old White

The nose is aromatic, elegant, powerful and full of balance. It reveals notes of candied apple, quince, small notes of candied lemon zests associated with fine touches of dry peach, apricot as well as fine hints of patisserie, apricot flowers, brioche, a discreet hint of roasted almond and cardamom. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a beautiful precision as well as finesse of the grain, finesse of the guideline and a small richness (full of control). On the palate this Porto expresses notes of candied quince, candied yellow peach, samll notes of crystallized mandarine associated with patisserie/honey, fresh hazelnut, almond, dry apricot and an imperceptible hint of cigare. Good length.
