The nose is spicy. There are notes of wild red berries combined with hints of cardamom, cocoa, exotic spices, cloves, and hints of violet and cherry. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, some volume and an airiness in the approach. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh cherry, violet and slightly fresh blackberry notes combined with hints of berry, sense of place (local biotop) as well as discreet hints of cardamom, nutmeg and a discreet hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are discreetly tight and firm.
