Plaisance Ranch – Petite-Petite 2017 – Applegate Valley

The nose is elegant, deep and offers a small intensity and complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe blackcurrant and small notes of blueberry associated with fine touches of wild raspberry as well as hints of sweet spices, cardamom and discreet hints of Cuben pepper, tonka bean and a subtle hint of graphite. The mouth is fruity, elegant and offers juiciness, precision as well as gourmandize and a good finesse of the grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy blackcurrant and small notes of violet associated with touches of fleshy/juicy blueberry as well as a subtle hint of cherry core as well as hints of chocolate and toasted/caramelization. Good length. Tannins are elegant. A very beautiful wine!
