The nose offers a small power, a fine freshness and fruitiness. It reveals notes of fleshy/ripe cherry, plum, small notes of small pulpy blue fruits associated with touches of violet, crushed strawberry as well as fine hints of lilac, liquorice, a racy minerality/granit and very discreet hints of green cardamom/Sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, suavity as well as tension, a certain straightness and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, fleshy/crushed redcurrant, small notes of juicy/acidulous violet plum associated with touches of blackberry as well as hints of lilac, fresh violet, terroir/granit and very fine hints of sweet spices. A very discreet hint of tonka bean on the persistence. A wine which needs time.
