Pine Ridge – Carneros, Chardonnay 2015 – Napa Valley 

The nose is fruity, very slightly crunchy and offers a very slight minerality. It reveals notes of quince, mirabelle plum and small notes of small yellow fruits associated with slight touches of butter, small dried fruits, discreet hints of minerality as well as an imperceptible touch of spices and butter. The mouth is fresh, fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, (very) slightly powerful (in the background) and offers a good definition, a slight acidulous frame, crunchiness as well as a small finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of mirabelle plum, quince and small yellow fruits associated with slight hints of beeswax as well as discreet hints of butter and small dried fruits. There are discreet hints of almond on the persistence / aftertaste.
