Pine Ridge – Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Stag Leap District – Napa Valley

The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and blackberry associated with small notes of grove, Cuben pepper as well as woody touches. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a good finesse as well as power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of redcurrants associated with small touches of crushed raspberry as well as hints of liquorice, chocolate, Bourbon vanilla and hazelnut. Tannins are fine and very slightly chewy. Good length.
