The nose is gourmand, beautiful, racy, powerful (full of elegance) and offers a small richness, elegance, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as deepness. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, dry Boysen berry, small notes of dry wild strawberry associated with touches of crushed black plum as well as small hints of local grove, fig, liquorice stick, vanilla, toasted, a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper, orange and thyme. The palate is fruity, elegant, complex and offers gourmandize, richness (full of elegance/balance), a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful definition as well as a certain aromatic purity and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed Boysen berry, dry wild cassis, small notes of dry raspberry associated with touches of violet plum, fig as well as hints of orange/orange zests, dry local grove/garrigue, fine hints of liquorice, black olive, dark chocolate, vanilla, very discreet hints of sweet spices, green cardamom and hazelnut. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length and persistence. A beautiful suave and gourmand persistence.
