The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers power, elegance and gourmandize. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe strawberry and small notes of raspberry associated with a touch of violet, chocolate as well as very fine hints of small local flowers. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, tension, gourmandize as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of red fruits associated with fine touches of chocolate, liquorice as well as a subtle hint of caramelization and a racy minerality. Tannins are well-built and finely firm.
