Pierre Vessigaud – Vers Pouilly 2016 – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a small fleshiness as well as elegance. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of quenette and crushed peach associated with hints of citrus, quince as well as discreet hints of juicy tangerine, flowers and vanilla. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, a small juiciness, straightness, precision, a racy minerality, subtlety, a good guideline, a beautiful roundness as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon and crushed vine peach combined with small notes of quince, crushed mirabelle plum as well as small touches of apple, quenette and an imperceptible toasted hint / butter (in background). Good length and good persistence.
