The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, raspberry and small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with fine touches of plum (in the background) as well as a discreet toasted hint and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant, well-balanced, well-built and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a fine straightness (in the background), a good structure, silkiness, suavity, a good finesse of the grain as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/acidulous red berries associated with small touches of plum, tonka bean, toasted and zan. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. Gourmandize and presence of toasted/chocolate on the finish/persistence.
