The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers freshness, a fine concentration as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild raspberry and small notes of fleshy Quetsche plum associated with touches of violet, a hint of gray pepper, a discreet hint of balsamic as well as subtle hints of liquorice stick, chocolate and an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, beautiful well-balanced, silky, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful precision, a fine grain, tension, a mineral frame as well as a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, Quetsche plum and small notes of ripe/crushed redcurrant associated with small hints of cornflower, rose as well as fine hints of chocolate, toasted and a very discreet hint of cardamom (in the background). Tannins are elegant, fine and structuring. Beautiful persistence. A beautiful wine full of balance!
