The nose is fine and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of tobacco, Zante currant associated with slight notes of cardamom, dried lemon zests, candied orange as well as touches of rancio and a subtle hint of undergrowth. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight acid frame, roundness, a slight fleshy/sweetness as well as tension. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of crystallized mandarin, dried lemon zests, candied orange zests, candied white fruits and caramel associated with discreet hints of undergrowth/rancio and spices. Good length and persistence. The finish is relatively powerful.
