The nose is elegant, deep and offers concentration, intensity as well as good definition. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bright small red fruits and small notes of roasted small fruits associated with touches of badian, olive as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and toasted. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, concentration, precision, an acidulous frame, energy, a beautiful definition, matter as well as richness in balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed/pulpy cassis and small notes of bright strawberry associated with a touch of roasted small fruits, tobacco, badian as well as slight almost dry local underwood hint and hints of tonka bean.  Elegant, racy, powerful, tasty and well-integrated tannins. Beautiful sapidity on the finish.
