The nose is powerful, aromatic, elegant and complex. It reveals notes of black fruit (blackberry, black cherry …) associated with fine notes of truffle, chocolate, discreet notes of mushroom as well as fine notes of cherry, flower (violet, touch of iris) and a few woody hints. The palate is fruity, mineral, harmonious, juicy, racy, elegant and beautifully balanced. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, juicy black fruit, cassis and slight notes of dark cherry associated with a touch of fig, blackberries, slight woody notes as well as a hint of chocolate and a discreet touch vanilla. Tannins are fine, elegant and integrated. Good length.
