Petit Guiraud 2020 – Sauternes

The nose offers a nice freshness, a some complexity as well as some intensity. It reveals notes of fresh marmalade, fresh apricot and more slightly – hints of crunchy peach associated with fine hints of fresh lychee as well as a discreet hint of peach blossom. The mouth is nicely fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a nice fresh frame, tension, fullness, and some fatness with finesse , gourmandize as well as purity of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of peach in syrup, candied pear and slight hints of pineapple in syrup associated with a slight hint of fresh lychee, fresh flowers and a discreet hint of sweet spices. Good length. A very discreet hint of candied lime in the background.
