Perles Noires 2020, Bordeaux

On the nose, fruity and offers a little concentration, power and good definition. It reveals notes of pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy blackberry and slightly raspberry combined with hints of violet, blueberry and a touch of crushed red berries, fine zan and pepper. On the palate, fruity, mineral, balanced and offers a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and tension. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, small crunchy/acidic red berries and more lightly juicy/pulpy plum combined with hints of tonka bean, incense, sweet spices and a very discreet touch of caramelization. The tannins are precise, well conducted and mellow.
