The nose is aromatic, fine and relatively intense. It reveals notes of undergrowth and leather combined with small notes of blackberry, cassis as well as a fine touch of strawberry (discreet), oak, fine spicy notes and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers a good volume, fat, suavity, juicy fruit and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed strawberry and black cherry associated with discreet touches of raspberry, cherry, chocolate, oak, a fine hint of liquorice as well as discreet hints of toasted oak / sweet spices (vanilla …) and an imperceptible hint of caramel.
