The nose is aromatic and offers a slight richness as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of black cherry, wild strawberry associated with slight touches of licorice, Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small suavity, a small fat, a slight straightness, a certain precision, roundness as well as a slight juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy strawberry and small notes of raspberry associated with slight touches of crushed redcurrants, spices as well as a discreet hint of gray pepper and very discreet hints of vanilla (in the background) and caramelization.
