The nose is a bit tight and offers precision as well as a slight power. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed wild black berries and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with a touch of crushed redcurrants, slight hints of gray pepper as well as a discreet hint of olive and spices. The palate is well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a slight acidulous frame as well as a slight freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy blackberry and small notes of crushed cassis associated with small touches of red berries, licorice, blond tobacco, tonka bean as well as a discreet hint of black olive. Tannins are a bit firm.
