The nose is fruity, very elegant, fine and offers concentration (but all in finesse) as well as complexity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe wild strawberry and griotte cherry associated with touches of wild blackberry, liquorice as well as discreet hints of tonka bean, gravels/terroir, tea and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky, precise and offers a beautiful minerality, a beautiful freshness, concentration, a beautiful mineral frame, a very beautiful elegance, a beautiful delicacy, a small tension as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and more slightly cassis associated with touches of fleshy wild strawberry, fleshy wild raspberry as well as discreet hints of spices, tonka bean, dark chocolate and a very discreet hint of toasted nut (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and structured. Beautiful persistence and gourmandise.
