Patrick Tranchand – Roche Grès 2016 – Moulin-à-Vent

Patrick Tranchand – Roche Grès 2016 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is slightly tightened and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of wild berries associated with a touch of red fruits, racy minerality / grès as well as hints of spices and an imperceptible touch of chocolate. The palate is fruity, well balanced and offers a good definition, straightness, a mineral frame (racy minerality), a good freshness, a nice juiciness, a slight suavity as well as an acidity (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry and slight notes of redcurrant combined with touches of plum, a touch of licorice as well as a very discreet touches of spices, cardamom and toasted touches. Good length.
