Patenôtre – Vinifié en Amphore 2020 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose offers violet, spices, a certain intensity and straightness, a stretched side and a slight terracotta/ dry earth side. There are notes of lily, pepper and small notes of blackberry, associated with touches of pulpy raspberry as well as slight hints of camphor and a discreet almost aromatic herbs/ infusion hint. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame and a racy grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of wild red berries associated with touches of baked clay/ terracotta as well as slight hints of infusion and tea. Racy and tense grain. Good length. Discreetly closed and chewy tannins at the same time.
