Patenôtre 2022 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose offers concentration, a certain density, fleshiness and a slight power. There are notes of fleshy/ juicy cherry, fleshy/ juicy raspberry and small notes of fresh blueberry associated with slight hints of tangy plum, toast, toasted almond and a discreet hint of chocolate and infusion. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a slight chew, gourmandise, suavity, some fatness, precision and a slight creaminess. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, violet, acidulous/juiciness plum and small notes of fresh cherry and touches of infusion, nutmeg, toasted and toasted almond. Good length. Supple and racy tannins. Beautiful work on the good bitters and a slight saline hint in the background. Beautiful freshness and suppleness, all in minerality, roundness and gourmandise. Sapid and chewy tannins. Small chew on the finish/ persistence.
