The nose is spicy and offers concentration as well as a balsamic side. There are notes of Bigarreau cherry, coocked wild redurrants and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of star anise, warm scrubland/grove as well as fine hints of volcanic rock. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, gourmandize, tension, precision, purity as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, pulpy red plum and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small creamy blue fruits, fine hints of chocolate, star anise, black olive as well as a subtle hint of oregano and volcanic rock. Lovely freshness and beautifully impacted by the local biodiversity!
