The nose is fruity, elegant, deep and offers a nice aromatic deepness. We find notes of Bigarreau cherry, pulpy black plum and small notes of crushed small blue fruits associated with touches of lily, fine hints of star anise, sage as well as a subtle hint of black olive and a delicate hint of spices/cardamom. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, an acidulous frame, tension as well as a nice definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/ripe blackcurrant and small notes of fresh/acidulous raspberry associated with touches of balsamic, fresh sage as well as fine hints of varietal/olive leaf and with a subtle hint of balsamic. Tannins are supple. Good job on the good bitterness.
