Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy – Terre de Maimbray 2015 – Sancerre

Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy – Terre de Maimbray 2015 – Sancerre

The nose is fruity and offers a slight gourmandise as well as a very fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed wild strawberry and small notes of blackberry associated with a toasted touch, flowers as well as a discreet touch of chocolate and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, gourmandise, a nice roundness, a beautiful definition, finesse, elegance, a slight acid frame as well as precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with a hint of Quetsche plum, violet/cornflower as well as subtle hints of tobacco, sweet spices and cardamom. Tannins are slightly chewy. Good length. A beautiful wine !
