Pascal Bouchard – Blancs Cailloux 2015 – Petit Chablis

The nose is fresh. It reveals notes of flint/minerality and slight notes of fresh zests associated with touches of white fruits as well as discreet hints of vine peach, fresh litchi as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fresh, mineral, racy, slightly straight and offers a slight suavity, a fine fat as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe vine peach, fresh apple and discreet hints of zests associated with imperceptible touches of fresh almond and an imperceptible hint of fresh butter (in the background). Good length. The aftertaste is gourmand, very slightly suave and offers a very discreet woody hint/almond.
