The nose is aromatic, racy and offers a small power, a good finesse of the grain as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of ripe small wild red berries, violet, garrigue, hints of Sichuan pepper, a subtle hint of pink laurel, spices as well as an imperceptible almost saline hint and underwood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, precision, a good structure as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/fleshy cassis, ripe/fleshy wild red berries and small notes of ripe/fleshy cherry associated with small touches of wild raspberry, fine hints of violet, garrigue, black olive and spices. Tannins are elegant. Good length. Very fine hints of chocolate, toasted almond, salinity, tobacco, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of underwood on the finish/persistence. A beautiful wine !
