The nose is fresh and ripe. It reveals notes of crushed / jammy blackberry, fresh cassis and menthol licorice associated with a hint of garrigue as well as a subtle hint of cherry jam. The palate is well-balanced and offers a (very) beautiful freshness, a fine acid frame, dynamism, roundness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, jammy blueberry and black cherry associated with touches of strawberry jelly, chocolate, toasted oak, tonka bean as well as a touch of caramelization / nougatine, prune, sweet spices and an imperceptible touch of caramelized mandarin (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. There are a hint of coffee and a hint of blond tobacco on the finish / persistence. Good length and beautiful persistence.
