The nose is aromatic and elegant. It reveals notes of black fruit and sour cherry associated with a touch of thyme, chocolate as well as slight notes of oak, sweet spices and a hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, gourmand, mineral, suave, unctuous, well-balanced and offers a beautiful matter as well as a small acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and Quetsche plum jam associated with small notes of chocolate, oak, sweet spices and a hint of vanilla. Tannins are very fine. Good length and persistence with discreet touches of coffee and a note of dark chocolate.
