The nose is fruity, fresh, fine, gourmand, elegant, precise/clean, charming, slightly fleshy and offers a slight intensity and deepness. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and slight notes of cassis, crushed redcurrant, strawberry associated with discreet hints of spices, Sichuan pepper, caramelization as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate (in the background) and a hint of flowers and undergrowth. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fine, elegant, straight and offers a slight tension, suavity, a nice gourmandise as well as a slight minerality/freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, ripe/fresh redcurrant and slight notes of strawberry, cassis associated with a discreet hint of fresh raspberry, a subtle hint of plum as well as touches of toasted oak, a discreet hint of chocolate, Bourbon vanilla and an imperceptible hint of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly chewy. Good length and persistence. There is a discreet hint of cacao/nutmeg on the persistence.
