The nose is fruity, elegant, aromatic and charming. It reveals notes of boysenberry, cassis and small wild fruits associated with discreet touches of wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, slight hints of cornflower, violet as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg, wood, subtle touches of black pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit aerial and offers a beautiful delicacy / finesse, gourmandise, a slight juiciness, a beautiful tension, a good definition, a slight acid frame, a beautiful guideline, a good tannic structure, a nice fat as well as a beautiful, silky and slightly creamy (in the background) matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy boysenberry, fleshy cassis and slight notes of fleshy strawberry, redcurrant, violet / cornflower associated with a subtle / discreet touch of wood, cardamom, nutmeg, slight / discreet touches of caramelized oak (in the background) as well as subtle hints of dark chocolate, caramelization (on the finish) and a subtle hint of almond (on the finish / in the background). Tannins are elegant and firm. Beautiful persistence. The finish is gourmande and suave.
