It reveals notes of boysenberry, cassis and small wild fruits associated with discreet touches of wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, slight hints of cornflower, violet as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg, wood, subtle touches of black pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit aerial and offers a beautiful delicacy / finesse, gourmandise, a slight juiciness, a beautiful tension, a good definition, a slight acid frame, a beautiful guideline, a good tannic structure, a nice fat as well as a beautiful, silky and slightly creamy (in the background) matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy boysenberry, fleshy cassis and slight notes of fleshy strawberry, redcurrant, violet / cornflower associated with a subtle / discreet touch of wood, cardamom, nutmeg, slight / discreet touches of caramelized oak (in the background) as well as subtle hints of dark chocolate, caramelization (on the finish) and a subtle hint of almond (on the finish / in the background). Tannins are elegant and firm. Beautiful persistence. The finish is gourmande and suave.
