Noir Frères – La Petite Marne 2015 – Côtes du Jura

The nose is racy, elegant and offers purity, delicacy as well as a fine power. The wine benefits from being decanted. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, dried citrus and, more slightly, juicy/crunchy berries combined with a touch of pulpy vine peach, a discreet hint of hazelnut, butter and a very discreet hint of honeysuckle and “flor”. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, some fatness, roundness, smoothness, a fine unctuousness, gourmandise as well as finesse and purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy vine peach, quince and more slightly lychee combined with a touch of dried mandarin, baked apple pie, fresh hazelnut and a subtle hint of spice/”flor”. Good length. Nice finish, sapid and gourmet. Good persistence (+10 caudalies). Congratulations!
