The nose is fruity, rich and offers power. It reveals notes of marmalade, crushed dry apricot and crushed pear combined with hints of candied lemon, discreet hints of spices, Granny Smith apple and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, unctuousity, tension, fat, a good balance, a beautiful acidity, gourmandise as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied peach and quince associated with small notes of roasted pineapple, mirabelle plum, crushed dry mango / apricot, hints of honey, a touch of crystallized mandarin as well as discreet hints of almond / hazelnut, spices and an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background). Good length and good persistence.
