Nicolas Thibert – Bois Denis 2015 – Mâcon-Fuissé

The nose is fine, fruity and offers a slight straightness. It reveals notes of yellow peach, yellow fruits and slight hints of fresh brugnon associated with a subtle hint of fresh citrus (in the background) as well as a very discreet toasted hint and beeswax/butter. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight suavity, fat, a slight acid frame, precision, a nice definition, straightness as well as a very slight juiciness in the background. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, quince and slight notes of ripe yellow peach associated with a discreet hint of crushed brugnon, crushed pear as well as a an imperceptible hint of flowers. Good length. There is a very discreet toasted hint, almond and hazelnut on the aftertaste (which brings gourmandise).
