Negro Giuseppe – Barbaresco DOCG 2018 Gallina, Neive

On the nose offers a fine grain, precision as well as a certain delicacy. It reveals notes of violet, bright Quetsche plum and more slightly fleshy strawberry associated with touches of lilac, violet as well as fine hints of licorice. On the palate is fruity and offers suavity, a mineral structure, good definition as well as a certain gourmandize. The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, cornflowers, lilac and more slightly bright cherry associated with a touch of Damascus plum, licorice as well as an imperceptible hint of sense of place (local biotop). The tannins are precise, structuring, racy and well done.
