The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a good definition as well as a very fine richness. It reveals notes of caramelized kumquat, dry orange, small notes of crystallized mandarine associated with small touches of caramel peach, candied pear as well as hints of orange flowers, apricot flowers, small hints of rose wood, caramelization, discreet hints of pepper and tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, gourmandize, a small generosity as well as a small fat and a certain tension. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of caramel peach, caramel pear, small notes of caramelized orange associated with touches of crystallized lemon, dry zests, dry flowers as well as hints of nougatine/brioche, toasted hazelnut, a subtle hint of camphor, black tea, liquorice (in the background), discreet hints of vanilla and toffee.
