Nativ – Rue 333, 2016 – Taurasi DOCG

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a small intensity as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of bright violet plum, crushed blackberry, small notes of crushed blueberry associated with a touch of strawberry, violet, a touch of cocoa as well as hints of violet, mild tobacco, a discreet hint of hazelnut, an imperceptible hint of hot local copse and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, an acidulous frame as well as precision, tension and a small stretchy side/full of length. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright black cherry, violet plum, small notes of violet associated with touches of cocoa, nutmeg, sugared mild tobacco, crushed strawberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, caramelization and hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
