Musso – Rio Sordo 2015 – Barbaresco 

The nose is fruity, elegant, well-built and offers finesse. It reveals notes of blackberry, chocolate and small notes of fresh strawberry associated with fine touches of flowers (cornflower, violet) as well as fine hints of Cuben pepper and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, tension, dynamism, juiciness as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy/juicy red berries and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of tonka bean, toasted, cardamom. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very fine chew on the finish/persistence.
