The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a fine concentration, a fine power as well as a small complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of wild berries, crushed red berries associated with a hint of crushed raspberry, liquorice, Sichuan pepper as well as a subtle hint of mild tobacco (in the background) and tea. The palate is fruity, well balanced, slightly tight, straight and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, a fine acidity, finesse, a fine dynamism, fat, a good freshness as well as a small fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and more slightly fleshy redcurrant associated with small/fine touches of cherry, zan, a very discreet touch of cassis bud (in the background) as well as subtle touches of sweet spices and very discreet touches of dark chocolate (in the background). Tannins are well-built, elegant and slightly firm. Good length.
