The wine shows a pale ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is open and vibrant with notes of sour cherries, strawberries, a touch of dried cranberries, ferrous nuances and hints pf macchia. The palate is juicy and ample with elevated acidity and grippy but elegant tannins. Sweet red berries dominate the palate with some herbals in the background. The finish is slightly bitter, savoury and saline.
