The nose is fruity and offers a fine power as well as a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of black cherry, violet and small notes of plum associated with fine touches of local grove / sense of place as well as very slight hints of red berries, liquorice and discreet hints of spices / Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, a good tannic structure as well as a small concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, crunchy red berries and small notes of violet / cornflower associated with slight touches of plum, local grove as well as discreet hints of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of cocoa. Tannins are structuring, slightly tight and very slightly over-extracted. The finish is slightly grainy. There are slight hints of tonka bean and sweet spices on the persistence.
