Michel Vattan «O-P» 2024 – Sancerre

The wine has a very pale lemon yellow color, with slight green reflections. The nose is lively, precise and very fresh. It opens with tangy notes of ripe lemon, lemon zest, green apple, gooseberries and passion fruit, combined with a hint of boxwood and limestone. The palate is airy and chiseled, but with a certain roundness. The attack offers flavors of lemon zest, lemon juice, green apple, gooseberries and passion fruit in the background. Then, we also feel a slightly bitter touch of grapefruit and a delicate mineral structure on the persistence. Good length on the tangy notes of gooseberries and a sharp acidity.
