Michel Rolland 2015 – Napa Valley

Michel Rolland 2015 – Napa Valley

The nose is aromatic and offers power, elegance as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of wild red berries associated with touches of licorice, blueberry, Cuben pepper as well as subtle hints of muscade, camphor and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful suavity, a slight acidulous frame, a slight freshness as well as a beautiful crunchiness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of juicy red berries associated with small / fine touches of juicy blueberry, oak, caramelization, almond as well as discreet toasted hints and sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
