The wine has a lemon color of medium intensity. The nose is pure, tangy, complex, with a beautiful fruity substance and a precise mineral frame. It offers notes of ripe citrus fruits (fresh lemon, grapefruit, lime juice), fresh gooseberries, green apple, as well as notes of dried field flowers, fresh white flowers (linden, chamomile) and a touch of hay and fresh tea leaves. There is also a mineral note of limestone and a slightly smoky touch of gunflint, associated with a toasted note in the background. On the palate, the wine offers balance between a certain roundness and a sharp acidity. It expresses notes of fresh citrus fruits (yellow lemon, grapefruit), fresh citrus zest (orange zest, lime zest), a slight note of candied lemon peel, crunchy green apple, as well as notes of lime blossom and fresh chamomile, gooseberries, cut grass and a delicate mineral touch (rather chalky than smoky) on the finish. The finish is persistent, very tangy and fresh, with expressive citrus and slightly smoky notes at the very end of the mouth.
