Metinella – Burberosso Riserva 2015 – Nobile di Montepulciano

The nose is quite aromatic and offers power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, very ripe wild small red fruits and small notes of spices associated with small touches of undergrowth as well as very slight hints of garrigue and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a mineral / slightly acidulous frame, a fine grain as well as harmony. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / very ripe blackberry, juicy / very ripe raspberry and small notes of ripe / juicy cherry associated with fine touches of violet as well as very discreet hints of zan, garrigue and an imperceptible hint of pepper (in the background). Good length and good persistence.
